Sangwook Nam

Welcome! I am an assistant professor at Binghamton University, School of Management.

My research focuses on financial disclosure and reporting, exploring their spillover effects and economic consequences. I examine these topics in such contexts as corporate investment decisions and supply chain relationships.

Prior to Binghamton University, I received my PhD and MS from Northwestern University and Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration, Economics, and Statistics from Seoul National University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Outside of academia, I enjoy running and have experience in horseback riding in Chicago, Seoul, and Mongolia. I also enjoy spending time with my wife and son.
